11/21 - Sunday - Got Lemons... Make Lemonade!

Livorno – An industrial port near Pisa. Our excursion was cancelled due to weather, which never arrived. Italian COVID restrictions do not allow one to disembark the ship unless on an organized excursion. So, we were stuck onboard. Nothing to do but look at the view and spend the day at the spa. A massage for Tom and a facial for Janet.

The group gathered at the Shakers bar before dinner for the first of the educational topics we attended while aboard.  Presented by a NCL staff officer, tonight’s topic was Martinis.  Six nouveau contenders were presented to challenge the classic martini. Hands down in my humble opinion – the classic crushed the competition! 

Albeit, Tom's favorite martini was not offered, nor could it be fixed by the bartenders... because they had no Lillet Blanc on the ship!
